> Whippet Dogs from 1 Henridge Pl Avonhead Dear Sir/Madam, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to submit my complaint, however I couldn't find a direct link on your website. I'm writing to complain about 2 whippet dogs in the Avonhead cemetery. They were out of control running over the graves and headstones disrupting carefully placed arrangements. They were upsetting an elderly lady who had come to the cemetery to tend to the grave of her late husband. The teenage boy walking them was unable to keep them under effective control as they were not on leashes. I have approached the boy before reminding him it is a cemetery and his dogs should remain on their leashes if he cant control them, as a mark of respect for those buried there and their loved ones who come to grieve. I also suggested he walk them in the Avonhead park to avoid upsetting those who are there to tend to their loved ones graves. Unfortunately this is not the first time and my requests have been ignored hence I am wanting to report them. If an official letter of some sort could be sent reminding him his dogs must remain under effective control whilst in the cemetery as a mark of respect I would be most grateful. It is always an emotional time for those visiting the cemetery and lately I have noticed some visits have been cut short due to the disruptive nature of the out of control dogs. I wish to thank you for your understanding of this matter and hope a resolution can be sorted for both the dog owner and the cemetery visitors. I look forward to your reply. Kind Regards Gillian
