> When sitting in the right turning lane on Carmen Road by the working men’s club it is very difficult to spot smaller vehicles or motorcycles in the right-hand lane heading north. You have to move it into the northbound lane slightly to get a good view. However by doing this if there is something coming you are now blocking their way. I don’t see the relevance of this flax bush and why it is there. It is a hazard and either needs removing or trimmed right back. I have spoken with a couple of the residents who have brought this up with the local councillor for Hornby but said it was a waste of time as nothing has been done. Therefore they decided to put it into my hands and thought if I brought it to your attention something might be done about it. The majority of people struggling to see beyond this flax bush a visitors of the working men’s club i.e. elderly smaller framed members of society with quite poor vision anyway. Hopefully something can be done about this and I can go back to them with a positive outcome
