> come on city council get this fixed. just this week repairs have been done to the broken drain surround but it has not fixed the continual flooding problem when it rains. We have every right to use our driveway when it rains and not to have to wade in gumboots to walk outside our gate. sometimes the water backs up into our property also.I reported this problem approx one year ago and nothing was done. please check your files same problem as 10 years ago, blocked drains due to tree roots from your trees. at that time drain was blasted and was fine for a few years. please get drains blasted again and also take out the offending overgrown trees in the carpark of Norman Kirk Courts on James k Baxter place. thanks.
