> My elderly friend who lives at 40 St David’s Street Lyttelton fell through this rickety safety barrier as it gave way when she leant against it. Very unsafe. Fortunately we managed to help her up the bank but she was extremely shaken. This hazard needs to be addressed for the safety of the public
