> Hi I’m concerned about the amount of discarded fishing line, and occasionally hooks, along the walkway on the straight part of Beachville Rd, Redcliffs. I speak to the fishermen and ask them if they’d please put it in the bins which I point out, though I’m sure some of then don’t understand me. There is a bin at the start of the straight and another at the end but I think one between the two might help. I’ve explained how bad it is for the wildlife and we occasionally have dolphins and a calf in the estuary. Signage and an extra bin would be great! Thanks Sue Swift
