> Hi, recently you repaired a leaking water main on Waipapa Avenue, this leak caused the failure of the Chorus phone lines and required them to excavate their lines to effect repairs. The phone lines have been repaired, but the backfilled trench has not been sealed, and there is a dangerous pot hole in the trench. Your contractors came last week and repaired the seal for the water leak holes, but didn't bother to fix the Chorus repair at the same time, which would have been pragmatic as the leak was the Council's responsibly and it was many days between notification and repair, so you could argue that the Council failure to act quickly resulted in the phone line outages so consequently your contractor should seal their hole as well. Anyway, residents on Waipapa would like you to please reseal this hole, and we note you have several other holes in roads close by that look ready for sealing up so a crew will be here in near future. Thanks.
