> There is a lot of residential development and roading work being done in the Halswell, Cashmere and Kennedy‘s Bush area. All seem to be done by the same contractor, Texco. Their work is slipshod and poor which is leading to poor road surfaces, which is exacerbated by the fact that once they have done work they never sweep the road clear of gravel. This is a significant danger and needs to be remedied immediately. The road in question here with the photograph is Cashmere Road by the intersection with Sutherlands Road, however Sutherlands road and Kennedys Bush Road are both as affected at the Kennedys Bush Road end of Cashmere Road. I serk urgent attention to this, as well as assurances Texco will improve their processes in the future, including signage as well as the general standard of their work.
