> I almost hit 2 pedestrians who walked in front of me as I was in the cycle lane shown in these photos. the pedestrians were heading out of the 129 Ilam Road Te Whare Akonga o Te Akatoki (Maori study centre) address. I'm concerned there could be a serious accident at this pedestrian - cycleway intersection. A solution might be to narrow the cycleway and colour it green like some other cycleways, and to leave a pedestrian walkway. Another solution might be to place signs at the 129 Ilam address asking pedestrians to look before stepping into the cycleway.
