> This is Edmonds park and a few weeks ago we as one of the Cashmere Technical 11th Grade A teams had to play on this pitch which is terrible ?? we are the biggest club in the South Island and we have the worst pitches out of everyone / every club in Christchurch to play on. This has been going on for far too long , 10 years for me alone. The CCC do far more for other sports that have less children. Football & our club have the most children in the whole of Christchurch that play this sport! You need to start sorting them out because it’s not all about rugby , hockey gets turf , league gets Nga puna wai - Selwyn council & Waimak have far better facilities for football than us it’s just embarrassing!! This includes: Centennial Park, Hanson’s park, Barrington Park, Hagley park pitches. It’s time to move our children need better grounds that this.
