> While walking on the esplanade this morning I was disturbed to observe a man cutting a large limb off a Pohutakawa tree! When challenged about this action he claimed to be part of a "working bee" but then left the scene, entering a house opposite. He didn't return in the 20 minutes that I remained in the vicinity and the severed limb remained where he felled it! I believe he has done this to "enhance" the view from his home and I consider this to be blatant vandalism. Please look into this and advise me of the outcome.
