> What genius from the council decided Elmwood Park needed only 1 smart bin and then placed it at the end of the park where only 20 percent use. This will certainly become worse in summer when both the cricket club and tennis club attract extremely large numbers of schoolchildren who are very unlikely to run 250 meters to deposit their rubbish in the only bin.Even with the 4 bins previously they were overflowing in summer. Another thing is it is many years since we had a decent amount of shingle ,and with the large number of people who walk in the park to spend every winter trying to dodge puddles is a real pain. I trust that something could be done to rectify. Thanks, Brian Smith.
