Is anyone willing to take responsibility for the pillars in our neighbourhood Glen Oaks Drive Northwood? As a community we actively take a pride in our neighbourhood & try to assist the council the best we can to beautify & maintain a safe & enjoyable environment for all. As the photo shows - a large chunk of the pillar has now become dislodged from the pillar at 2 Glen Oaks Drive amongst the tiling that falls sporadicly. ACTION NEEDS TO BE TAKEN NOW to have all pillars checked & made safe before some one is badly injured. This includes the structure on June Street, It is my belief that the pillar structures are the Christchurch City Councils Responsibility. You are welcome to contact me at any time.
