> There is a water fountain by the shower block/public toilets at the Waimairi Beach Surf Club that has been taped off/covered in black plastic to prevent use. Someone has ripped open the plastic to use the water fountain and has left a used syringe in there as well. Really unsafe especially as the discovery was made by my 4yo son when he walked past. Incident is not at 6 Palmgrove Lane but I can’t change this in the report - it is the public toilets on Beach Road outside the surf club.
