# Roading/Streets, Acacia Avenue, Canterbury 8041, New Zealand

> I am a frequent visitor to my daughter's home at 38 Acacia Avenue Upper Riccarton. During term time the street is so congested by student parking that there is often no street parking to be had. Year by year the student parking is increasing. Is there no precedent to require the school to provide parking or at least to limit student parking? What makes this situation worse is the narrowness of the street; it can be quite perilous backing out of a driveway when both sides of the road are full. Can anything be done? Fred Rohs
