> There is a new development next to my house. Before the new paths were formed, the black electrical box you see next to the fence, had to be connected to the mains. They turned the power off to my house while the did this work. It required digging a deep hole, I assume to find whatever they need to connect to. My stones landscaping had been completed literally the day before, and the hole diggers needed to move my stones and weedmat out of their way. Once the hole was filled in again, they replaced my landscaping where it belongs. A few days later, I noticed a hollow in my stones at that point. I thought perhaps someone had stolen a few shovels of stones?????????? Luckily my landscaper was still on site so he topped it up. Over the months since, I have notice all the ground around where the hole was dug, is settling. Obviously nothing was compressed when refilled. The ‘missing’ stones are missing again. Sinking. The new asphalt path has a distinct hollow in it, and it has not even been open for use yet. It is identified y a circular stain of dried dirt. Every time it rains, a puddle forms, and the water has nowhere to go until it dries. The ground around the area has also sunk.
