> Treetech had started mutilating War Memorial Mana Ash tree(s)in Windermere Rd to create a site access for the extensions to Bellevue Retirement Appartments. They couldn’t produce any evidence of Council approval but ceased operations when we advised them of the significance of the trees. We have to be alert to moves to damage our trees, they can be demolished in minutes but take decades to replace… if they bother at all.
