# Water Leak, 2 Vista Place, Canterbury 8022, New Zealand

> Hello, I'd like to report a water leak. On initial investigation, it 'appears' to originated from properties 116A or 124 Huntsbury Ave. This water first appears on the surface within the Council reserve, immediately adjacent to the above property boundaries. This water has been running in minimal quantity for an extended period, possibly for years, at just a trickle. More recently it has increased to a steady flow and the volume and puddle size on the surface of Vista Place has increased greatly in the last 6 weeks. Since the additional flow volumes have appeared, I have developed water seepage from under my home at 8 Vista Place. An area that has been dusty dry for the 3 years of my residence now has water trickling out of the ground and is causing soil movement and damage. I have spoken to the resident of 124 Huntsbury, whom was aware of unusual water flow through his property and has reported to me that he identified a potentially disused water meter at the entrance to the shared driveway of 110 to 118 Huntsbury Ave which was indicating to have large volumes of water flowing through it. He claims this meter was isolated at 18:00 24/11/2021. It would be a very good idea to look into this leak as the water continues to flow under my property and further damage is being caused. I understand from neighbours, that the previous owners of 8 Vista Place had a similar issue with water flowing under the house some 4 years ago. Please contact me to discuss further.
