> Cycle priority crossing at the corner of Straven and Matai St West has had its timing changed and now the bikes have to wait for a minute or more at peak traffic. Cyclists are backing up at the crossing and trying to cross before the signal allows them to. I'm genuinely concerned a cyclist will be hit soon as earlier this week I watched people crossing while queues of cars were backed up across intersection and rge visibility of the other side of the road was very poor. This is a narrow crossing and bikes can clear it quickly if given priority, causing minimal delay for cars. Please fix this excessive delay for bikes. I'm concerned there will be a serious accident if it isn't fixed.
