> This service repair trench is a few months old, and has slumped badly, especially at the ramp and along the edges of the trench where existing brick was sawcut. This suggests poor compaction and backfill by contractors. If left, water run off will seep into pavement layers, worsening the slumping. Yesterday around 6pm my husband came off his bike here, and injured his hand. It's hard to see the uneven edges in the day and this hazard would much worse at night. Please remedy with some urgency.
