> The arson at 49 Bowhill Rd on 11 January 2022 has left asbestos-ridden debris which is unsafe. The structure itself is also unstable and a risk to neighbouring properties. If it is not removed, I will also be unable to build my fence. I have requested the ratepayer’s contact details but understand he is in and out of prison without insurance. I am asking the council to step in and clear the site for the safety of the New Brighton community. Each time it rains or is windy, the asbestos is moving onto neighbouring properties.
