# Wastewater/Stormwater, 15, Eglinton Street, Avondale, 8061, Canterbury

Avondale, Christchurch · filed 22 January 2017 · report 215846
https://www.chch.live/report/215846

> This surface flooding occurred on the weekend of the 15th of Jan 2016 at high tide and after some rain the previous night, I am concerned that this now seems to be a common occurrence since the recent quakes in North Canterbury in the streets around our area which didn't happen prior to that event. There would have been water entering the sewage system and I'm interested to know if there is anything being considered to limit this flooding before it gets worse over high rainfall and tidal combinations.
