> Hi there. Our footpaths were re-surfaced recently in Smartlea St and surrounding streets, Weir, McBeath, Muirson and Greenpark. For some reason on Smartlea St between the river and MacBeath St on the South side, our grass berms were also dug up and grass seed re-sewn. You'll see from the pics that despite our best efforts to water this area either it was rubbish grass seed or done at the wrong time of year as it is absolutely full of horrible weeds and bare areas. We are hoping that this can be re-done so it can look at least as nice as it used to before these works as this is a designated Greenway. Hydroseed would have perhaps been a better option?
