> Inappropriate trees for location; located southern border 27 Rata St. Landlord won't remove them and does not maintain them. CCC intervention is requested. Trees do conform to CCC location criteria in IDS Part 10 and are includes Inappropriate Trees list, appx 1. Trees are a danger and nuisance to adjacent properties and car park due to 15+ m height of 'water sprouts' and rotten core from past topping. They are not providing shelter to owner's property as it is a clear section and would likely be removed by any future development. Despite private property, CCC should take an interest in this matter because its plan to remove public parking from Riccarton Rd, redirects use to private parking behind north side buildings.
