> On Main North Road in the left hand lane heading North, there is a rather large raised man-hole which is unavoidable. I hit this going 40kmh and could not swerve due to traffic in the oncoming lane. This caused my tyre to de-bead from my wheel which has ruined the tyre and it now has a significant leak. I have saved up for new tyres for months and I only got them on Sunday. Due to the cost of essentials on the rise, I cannot afford to replace them which leaves me having to walk to work from my house in Sockburn to my job in the city centre. I assume I wouldn’t be the only one who has complained about this bump, and I would not be surprised if it has caused mechanical issues for other motorists. Please get this fixed so other people/young mums don’t have to be in the same position as me :(
