> Noticed large amount of sediment entering Avon at Victoria bridge outfall shortly after heavy rain at approx 12:30 on 08/05/22. Large stretch of exposed hardfill for footpath between 22 and 32 Cranmer Square. The colour of the sediment matches that seen pooled on the exposed material and within the kerb and channel. Sump which drains the kerb near the intersection of Cranmer square/Montreal st and Kilmore St had no protection and appears to be within the catchment for the Victoria Bridge outfall based on CCC network asset map. No other erosion and sediment control measures were in place.
