> A shipping container has been placed on the berm outside 30 Whitehall Street in Mairehau. It's has been there for approximately 2 years. It does not appear that any earthquake repairs have been undertaken at this property; it's just been used for storage. It is a traffic safety issue for both vehicles and pedestrians; I have observed two near misses where my neighbour has reversed his car on to the street unsighted (of oncoming vehicles).
