> Photos taken on Dawe Street, from Akaroa Street corner to Skipton Street corner. Water still flows UP FROM the drain outside 2 Dawe Street. Overflow from the nearby well head is the main cause. The flow to Skipton Street is often blocked, resulting in erosion of the road edge. Leaves keep piling up. Only one resident is capable of clearing the drain, a 74 year old man who has an arthritic knee. What is the Council going to do about this long ongoing problem - if anything?
