> Kia ora CCC! On Clifton Terrace there is a spot where the footpath runs out and you need to cross the road to continue walking down the hill. This crossing is really unsafe due to poor visibility in both directions. You need to listen for cars coming and when they are fast or quiet this is difficult! I am a young person with good hearing and have walked out in front of cars many many times! I think it would be really easy to put in mirrors in both directions at this crossing point. As a longer term solution I know the adjacent lot is red zoned and (while there is a bit of an earthworks situation here) maybe the footpath could be re-routed to a straighter part of the road to allow for safer crossings.
