> This is one of our kitchen cabinets which is working loose from the terrible vibration from Cashmere Rd. I have had items move on shelves, windows rattle and the whole house shakes. I no longer have people visit as some are upset by the ‘quake’ noises they hear. I am also having to replace my hot water cylinder which I believe has also fallen victim to this constant movement. The main problem is the jarring caused since the electric buses have been used over the poor roading. They must be much heavier than the old ones and four times an hour our house is shaken by them as multiple ridges are hit between Opihi Street and Oderings Nursery. The road needs to be properly repaired not just patched as has been done repeatedly and poorly. I have money to pay my rates OR repairs and would rather the former wasn’t used on shoddy workmanship.
