> Hi. I am wondering if your able to do anything about this? We have a great new paved track through the old ascot golf course and alot of people are now using it for walking or school kids for Shirley boys and avonside girls going to school. But the actual reserve area isn't very well maintained. As a female walking around there midday during week days I don't feel safe. The road side is overgrown. They have transferd the rock climbing structure from town and seemed like it is just plonked there. Over grown all around. It is not a place I would feel happy for my kids to go to on their own. I know there is alot being done with planting etc in the area and not sure what they are for but there are new concrete pads along the track for something else that is going in there. It would be nice to see it maintained a bit better and opened up to feel safer.
