> Last week the grader appeared: scraped a few metres of dirt from road edge on to berm ( which we then have to try to mow) opposite 182 okuti Rd, left pile of shingle in middle of lewthwaites Rd and pile of turf along side of lewthwaites Rd bridge. Nothing of any significance achieved other than leaving a mess for others to deal with. A person with a shovel would have done a better job but It’s not even clear what the purpose of the work was - more like someone playing with a grader I’m sorry to say. Could it be noted that this was a irresponsible use of resources and unacceptable deposition of material.
