> Drain was filled with base course by Council a month or so ago as it was deep & hazardous. Intention was to top seal with concrete. Road was patched but drain was never concreted. Two heavy rainfalls have scoured out again with base course rocks blocking drain entries, overflowing to properties and spilling rocks all over Lighthouse & Onuku Roads. The flow from the unchannelled water may have been part cause of the slip on Beach Road by the yacht club.
