# Parks, Cass Bay, Canterbury

> Hello - it’s such a shame to see we’ll used beach, park and tracks in such a state of ruin. I understand the council is obviously cutting costs but I would have though these popular beaches wouldn’t get ignored. The Cass and Corsair Bays used to be regularly mown (boot high grass). The tracks keep tidy (currently knee high grass). At Corsair there is a broken drain which floods 1/4 of the picnic area... it would take half a day to build Adrain to remedy the problem. Then there is the waste of money getting tree tech to cut limbs off pine trees... just cut them down once and job done. Cheers Dave
