# Roading/Streets, 26-28, Tuam Street, Christchurch, 8011, Canterbury

Christchurch · filed 21 November 2017 · report 329550

> The footpath has been reduced to single width only with fencing preventing pedestrians from moving to accommodate oncoming traffic including other pedestrians and cyclists. The annoying thing is that along side is a coned off area the same size due to H&S but even more so is the fact that the building causing all the issues has a fence along the footpath and along the fence you can see the gutter used for rubbish and storage while pedestrians are forced to navigate the footpath. Even worse is the mess further along where the footpath is suddenly closed at Montreal but the other side of the road doesn’t have a pedestrian crossing. Well done traffic management.
