> I am appalled at the neglected state of the Avonhead cemetery!! I have reported this last year & it has been reported as an article in the Christchurch Press recently. It is a disgrace & disrespectful to those who are buried here & whose families come to visit their loved ones. Do we have to bring our own lawn mowers & brush cutters ???? ... too late some have already resorted to this! I stark comparison is the Cheviot Cemetery we saw at the weekend ... it was IMMACULATE! I don't want to hear excuses ... just get on with the job of making it a Cemetery we can be proud of.
