> Prior to cyclone Gita I registered an online complaint (#92365524) to notify you that the stormwater roadside drain outside our property was choked with leaves creating a flooding hazard. This has not been addressed. This drain is supposed to be on a regular clearance schedule by your contractor after years of me complaining about this issue. This is no longer happening and I am very angry that it was not cleared prior to this recent severe weather event. I am sick and tired of having to do the council’s job and clear that drain at all hours of the day and night to prevent the torrent of stormwater that flows down off the hill from ending up in my property when it rains. Please sort this out and maintain regular drain clearance.
