> AVONHEAD CEMETERY - in the vicinity of the Earthquake memorial. I have used Snap/Send/Solve app to make known to you the poor maintenance of the Avonhead cemetery - drawing attention to the grassed area of the cemetery bordering the Avonhead Park & EQ memorial. I reported this on 5/5/17, 8/2/18, 5/4/18. There have been excuses but nothing changes. Why??? I have visited regularly over the last 2 years as my mother is buried in the area of the cemetery I have mentioned, which for the most part looks little better than a horse paddock! Look closely at the photos included with this report - Firstly 3 photos from the Avonhead Cemetery followed by .... - 2 photos from the Rangiora Lawn Cemetery The Rangiora Lawn Cemetery, Silverstream Cemetery, Cheviot Cemetery are IMMACULATE - a credit to those who maintain them. What is the problem with maintaining the Avonhead Cemetery in the same manner? Is it lack of funding & resources ? Is it poor time management? Is it the contractor? I would appreciate a resolution to this ongoing issue sooner than later. Regards Sheryn Linton
