Charteris Bay, Christchurch · filed 10 January 2024 · report 4122593
https://www.chch.live/report/4122593

> Large face in Japanese characters painted side of a CCC water treatment box at the bottom of Bayview Rd on Marine Drive in Charteris Bay. Japanese visitor said the symbols are letters put in the shape of a face. She said it doesn’t look as if it has been done by a Japanese person and that she saw a similar when she was on the #8 bus either in Lyttelton or near the Gondola. There is no other graffiti in Charteris Bay and so please remove ASAP.
