# Trees - General, 300 Curletts Road, Hillmorton, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand

Hillmorton, Christchurch · filed 28 January 2024 · report 4205065
https://www.chch.live/report/4205065

> THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. A 10cm diameter branch of a tree has lowered until it is at face height above the middle of the shared path (cycles and pedestrians) alongside Curletts Road. Impact at speed would kill a cyclist. Someone has tied a ribbon around it to warn passers-by. I don't know the exact location but it is at a farm track entrance near, but not at, the Heathcote River entrance to Canterbury Park.
