> Banks Peninsula, Fire risk issue: I've just read about forestry skid sites being a source of potential flare-ups in the current port hills fire. I understand that this site on Banks Peninsula is likely in private ownership but I hope something can be done to force slash/skid sites to be removed. The approximate location https://maps.app.goo.gl/Awtzi6sApZGNCvYFA, not far from where the walking track Gebbies Pass - Packhorse Hut intersects a forestry road, there are two huge skid sites.
