> I am concerned about the health of the giant sequoia in Ernle Clark reserve. It is well over a century old. The crown has thinned over the past 5 years. For the first time Gymnopilus / laughing Jim fungi are growing on exposed roots. I just want reassurance that this tall tree is subject to regular ealth checks by an arborist. The worst- case scenario is that the heartwood is rotten and the tree falls.
