> The FIRST maimai in The upper reaches of Lyttelton Harbour has just been built. While we have no objection to game hunting we are concerned about shooting in a sensitive native wildlife area - home to nesting black back gulls, royal spoonbills, stilts, oyster catchers, bar- tailed godwits, grey & white Kotuku, and near the Australasian harrier nest site. We own the adjacent paddock, retired from farming for over 20 years, now regenerating salt marsh vegetation. Hope this does not set a precede
