# Vandalism - General, 527 Cashel Street, Linwood, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand

Linwood, Christchurch · filed 22 June 2024 · report 4807378
https://www.chch.live/report/4807378

> The residents of 527 Cashel Street have placed three surveillance cameras in the tree on the berm with wires taped to the tree, extending back to the main power from their house. The cameras are recording up close audio/video of pedestrians walking past the house and of cars passing and parking outside. The wires are hanging in the air from the tree. I live next door and one of these cameras is recording my entire front garden, invading my privacy. I saw them install these at night on 20/06.
