> We have a large flax outside the front of our house that needs attending to please. Dead leaves surround the base of it and is a sight. City care don’t think it’s their job to clear the old dry leaves away so I was told! Today I approached Delta workers who were trimming the flax along the reserve area to see if they could do the job for me but also said it wasn’t their job! These workers are making such a difference to the area as it was certainly over grown. Such a shame to let this lovely area get into such a rundown state!! So who’s job is it please! The grey railings also could do with a spruce up along the street and outer area of Halswell on the park!
