# Trees - General, 21 Butts Valley Road, Heathcote Valley, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand

Heathcote Valley, Christchurch · filed 14 September 2024 · report 5139517
https://www.chch.live/report/5139517

> There is a giant Eucalyptus tree near 21 / 23 Butts Valley road - last year a smaller branch snapped off and smashed the windscreen of a parked van, and last week a huge branch came off and luckily feel into overgrown vegetation. Residents in the area are concerned for pedestrians, parked cars and also the power lines that are in the fall zone. We no longer park under it if we can help it as it’s just far too precarious.
