> Note that the drainage structure between the Wigram Retention Basin pond and the Heathcote River can be a duckling trap. On the weekend one had fallen through the metal grating and couldn't get out. I had to reach in and get it. I assume this only happens infrequently but a finer grating or wire mesh across the grating would stop wildlife falling in here.
