# Poles and Signage - General, 120 Belfast Road, Belfast, Christchurch 8051, New Zealand

Belfast, Christchurch · filed 26 September 2024 · report 5187537

> I'd like to suggest putting a small sign on this chained gateway to indicate there's an open pedestrian/cycle entrance to the cemetery about 100m (?) to the north further along the NC shared path. I've seen cyclists crossing the chain clearly not knowing about the open entrance. No big deal, but more recently I came across an elderly man who had fallen trying to traverse the chain with his walker. Luckily his head missed the post. He did not know about the gate further along.
