> Shallow pit dug next to footpath at entrance to Ayr St off Deans Ave has been “covered” by a section of wire fence. Fence is askew, so not covering pit, and angled so leg support is projecting upwards. When pit dug last week, was protected by upright fences, but these have been slowly removed, leaving just the single flat fence section. Sadly builder can’t afford proper fencing when selling $1.1M townhouses… Note this is 2nd unsafe pit on footpath reported for this site.
