> Marching Canterbury held a competition at Nunweek Park today on turf 3 Hockey Turf. However the teams that attended this competition set up gazebos on the grass areas in the carpark area of these grounds. We had a near miss today when a rather large tree branch broke off the tree & landed less than a metre from a teams gazebo. Thankfully there were no injuries, however given the size of the branch this could have been a fatal event. This isn’t the first incident we have had of branches falling.
