# Trees - General, Beverley Park Rose Garden 171 Stanmore Road, Linwood, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand

Linwood, Christchurch · filed 11 November 2024 · report 5393544

> This morning the council lawn mower has broken off a large branch from one of the ornamental cherry trees surrounding the Beverley Park Heritage Rose Garden. I have a video of the lawn mower working at a pretty fast rate in the park but unfortunately i can't seem to attach it to this message. The photos show the tree and the mower has a high bar that must have hit the tree at speed as it mowed under the tree. I heard a large crack as it happened.
